An afternoon with the Bush Boogie Calendar

At the beginning of the year, I got to spend an afternoon with Catherine, of the Bush Boogie Calender.

This shoot was a lot of fun. Not only because Catherine and I share a hometown, (of which I was visiting over the Christmas holidays, before returning back to Northern Queensland.) But because it was the first time we had actually caught up since school. And it was so inspiring to look at where we had both gone in pursuits of our own creative passion projects. This afternoon, was spent enjoying the scenes around us, as we spent the afternoon capturing images for the very first physical calendar that Catherine had designed. and it felt so very special to be able to shoot it in the same place it was born. This was a great way to kick of the 2026 year. and continue to watch The Bush boogie Calender grow even more over the course of this year.
